strong in the betting and looking very well treated on his all-weather form, resumed winning ways to make a mockery of this lower turf mark, clearly just as effective on a quicker turf surface as all-weather; chased leaders, shaken up 2f out, drew clear inside final 1f, had plenty in hand; the handicapper will want his revenge, but Edraak remains unexposed and probably hasn't finished improving.

A useful handicap, the finish contested by 2 who have improved on the all-weather over the winter, Edraak running out a wide-margin winner and not sparing the handicapper's blushes

EDRAAK (IRE) strong in the betting and looking very well treated on his all-weather form, resumed winning ways to make a mockery of this lower turf mark, clearly just as effective on a quicker turf surface as all-weather; chased leaders, shaken up 2f out, drew clear inside final 1f, had plenty in hand; the handicapper will want his revenge, but Edraak remains unexposed and probably hasn't finished improving.

CAPOTE'S DREAM (IRE) back on turf, remains in good form, just having no chance with one that the handicapper had treated a lot more leniently; steadied at the start, held up, pushed along 2f out, hung left, ran on.

TRIGGERED (IRE) proved consistent last year and ran creditably after 5 months off; held up, pushed along 2f out, late headway; this isn't the first time he's given the impression a return to 7f will suit.

THE LAMPLIGHTER (FR) back on turf, failed to build on his reappearance, looking a hard ride under pressure; mid-division, pushed along around halfway, wandered from 2f out, weakened.

BIMBLE (IRE) won first time out last year and was well backed but shaped as if needing the run after 6 months off; prominent, pushed along 2f out, weakened inside final 1f; she's got some strong handicap form to her name and ought to be much closer to her best next time.

SECOND COLLECTION back on turf, continues to underperform; slowly into stride, held up, forced to switch over 1f out, effort flattened out.

GREEN POWER hasn't stood much racing over the last couple of years and went backwards from his reappearance; mid-division, ridden halfway, weakened over 1f out.

HEER WE GO AGAIN continues out of sorts; led, headed around halfway, weakened over 1f out.

COMPANY MINX (IRE) is struggling for form at present; close up, ridden halfway, weakened over 1f out.
