The winner's stamina came to the fore in a gruelling test but a couple of others looked a bit flattered in a super slow-motion finish, the form weak by Grade 2 standards and not up to the usual useful level needed to win this race.

ANYTHINGFORLOVE came out on top, the improvement prompted by the longer trip, seeing it out dourly in a slow-motion finish; prominent, jumped on 2 out, driven out; she mightn't be easy to place after this but she's a likeable mare who's compiled a very positive profile in little time, and chasing will be her thing next season.

SANDYMOUNT ROSE (IRE) ran well up in grade, having her chance, not obvious that a path towards the inside held her back in any way; held up, travelled fluently, in touch 3 out, challenged next, kept on.

MISTY WHISKY remains in good form but should've probably done more, a shoddy round of jumping clearly holding her back; held up, bumped first and barely took a flight fluently after, struggling 3 out, headway before next, slow again there, plugged on.

RAYNA'S WORLD (IRE) not for the first time looked a bit flattered in a graded race, going nowhere before some late progress; in rear, reminders after third, struggling 3 out, headway before next, plugged on.

UPTOWN LADY (IRE) was in the process of running well when departing, possible even she'd have given the winner most to think about, though there'd have been an element of flattery to her likely placing in view of the slow-motion finish; in touch, outpaced home turn, rallied after 2 out, keeping on in third when unseated rider last.

BELLE DE MANECH (FR) might stay this far in time but clearly didn't faced with such a gruelling test; made running, headed before 2 out, weakening when mistake there.

LITTLE MO (IRE) who'd had a breathing operation and wore a tongue strap, lost her unbeaten record up in grade, probably not good enough down South but stopping a bit too quickly to think it was just lack of ability that beat her, especially as she should be suited by this far; close up, folded home turn.

LITTLE RIVER BAY (IRE) lost her unbeaten record over timber in very tame fashion; in touch, struggling soon after 3 out, first beaten; connections forwarded the ground as an excuse but that's not easy to accept given how well she'd handled heavy going at Newbury on her previous start.
