didn't need to improve to pick up a second win of the season, given a good ride back down at 6f; pressed leader, travelled well, led 2f out, kicked on soon after, kept going well; she'd be well worth her place in a valuable handicap or a Group 3 contest back at 7f.

seemed to excel herself upped in grade, seen to advantage in that she was best placed to give first chase to the winner but sticking at it well enough to suggest she's value for at least some improvement; chased leaders, effort 2f out, kept on well, no match for winner, pulled clear of remainder.

Several disappointments on show, notably the travelling Irish contingent, but Double Or Bubble was entitled to win this as readily as she did given her previous form, her jockey taking the race by the scruff of the neck from the 2f pole and never in any trouble from there, the pace and overall time of the race backing up the form.
