SAYEDATY SADATY (IRE) attracted after 6 months off and duly proved a different proposition to his juvenile campaign, both in of achievement and attitude; led, pushed along around 2f out, tackled soon after, headed final 1f, rallied; bred to be suited by middle distances this year and has races in him at this level providing his kinks have been ironed out.

ORNE (IRE) looked to tick plenty of the right boxes, the standard setter in spite of his penalty and already up to speed for the year, but couldn't handle a couple of improvers; held up, not settle fully, got gap over 2f out, headway soon after, keeping on when switched final 1f, ran on, never landed a telling blow on front pair.
