BRICK BY BRICK (IRE) ran creditably, a penalty enough to prevent him from confirming Fairyhouse form with the winner and the runner-up; led, driven over 2f out, headed entering final 100 yds, no extra.

DALI (USA) in first-time hood after 9 weeks off, remains with just one bad run to his name, but seems to have hit a ceiling with his form and is likely to continue to come up short at this level; dwelt, raced off the pace, not settle fully, headway approaching 2f out, hampered approaching final 1f, plugged on.
