went one better than last time from the same mark, clearly in top form, though margin of victory exaggerated by conditions in a race that had already cut up; held up, smooth headway halfway, led 2f out, asserted final 1f, kept going well; won't want handicapper to overreact to this, thriving though he obviously is at present.

shaped as if still in good form but didn't see things out anything like so strongly as the winner tackling ground this soft for the first time in a while; mid-division, travelled well, headway over 2f out, chased leader approaching final 1f, not quicken.

was below form in first-time tongue strap, yet to make much of an impact in handicaps this season, though in fairness making the running suits her best; mid-division, ridden over 2f out, made no impression.

A small field and testing conditions mean it's best to take a cautious view of this form, the winner as good as ever even if the winning margin might be slightly misleading.
