LUSTOWN BABA (IRE) after just 4 days off, clearly hadn't been flattered last time after all, taking her form up another notch in fact, well placed the way things panned out but no denying her superiority on the day; missed the break, patiently ridden, smooth headway over 1f out, went on entering final 1f, kept on well, well on top finish; soft ground appears to be the key to her and she is reportedly set to stay in training next year.

COULD BE KING is holding form well and coped well with the drop back to sprinting, unlucky to bump into a most progressive filly; mid-division, challenged over 1f out, kept on.

DOWNFORCE (IRE) runner-up to Make A Challenge in this race last year, turned in best effort of the season; close up, led briefly over 1f out, no extra.

MAKE A CHALLENGE (IRE) who won this race last year, wasn't at his best back at a track where he has an excellent record, a busy campaign possibly catching up with him; made running, travelled well, headed over 1f out, kept on again late on.

SON OF REST stepped up on reappearance run, unable to land a telling blow but proving he's still capable of at least useful form; in rear, had to pick way through, kept on, never nearer.

SCHRODERS MISTAKE (IRE) turned out again quickly, retried in headgear, ran better than last time; well drawn, tracked pace, pushed along over 2f out, lost place, kept on again last ½f.

ROMANTIC PROPOSAL (IRE) failed to repeat last effort; tracked pace, ridden over 1f out, faded; type to bounce back quickly.

SOUTHERN HORSE (ARG) retried in headgear, ran poorly, always on the back foot after missing the break; dwelt, held up, never dangerous.

SUMMER SANDS might have needed the run after 3 months off but doesn't appear to have trained on; prominent, ridden halfway, weakened.

ARABESKA (IRE) wasn't up to this better company; mid-division, beaten 2f out.

MIACOMET (IRE) without the headgear after just 4 days off, faced a stiff task in this grade and fared no better than last time; raced wide, mid-division, brief headway 2f out, weakened.
