seemingly showed much improved form after just 8 days off from out of the handicap, again a better round of jumping in an uncontested lead key to his performance; raced clear, jumped well in main, given breather and reduced advantage eleventh, drew clear again thirteenth, unchallenged; he's been given credit for his effort for now, whether he can reproduce it under less favourable circumstances remains to be seen.

A race already weakened by 3 withdrawals turned out a particularly weak affair for the grade, with several significant disappointments among the fancied runners, the winner allowed a lot of rope and making the most of his chance.

AACHEN seemingly showed much improved form after just 8 days off from out of the handicap, again a better round of jumping in an uncontested lead key to his performance; raced clear, jumped well in main, given breather and reduced advantage eleventh, drew clear again thirteenth, unchallenged; he's been given credit for his effort for now, whether he can reproduce it under less favourable circumstances remains to be seen.
