after just 7 days off, followed up from last time under a penalty; mid-field, headway over 2f out, led 2f out, tackled soon after, headed final 1f, rallied to lead again dying strides; carried head a bit awkwardly when first pressured but there was no crabbing his attitude at the business end, and there's probably more to come, arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten in handicap company.

settled better than has been the case in the past (gelded since last seen 5 months ago) and that translated to a much-improved display, making the odds-on favourite pull out all the stops; waited with, smooth headway 2f out, challenged over 1f out, edged ahead final 1f, headed final strides, pulled clear of remainder; capable of better still and one to be interested in.

ran creditably; in rear, headway over 2f out, no match for front pair but kept on; this opens up more options regarding trip, but it looks increasingly unlikely that he'll live up to his pedigree, and there may not be much more to come.

Fairly useful form by the pair of 3-y-os who pulled clear in this handicap, their efforts worth viewing positively for all that there wasn't much depth further back.

MOTAMAYIZ after just 7 days off, followed up from last time under a penalty; mid-field, headway over 2f out, led 2f out, tackled soon after, headed final 1f, rallied to lead again dying strides; carried head a bit awkwardly when first pressured but there was no crabbing his attitude at the business end, and there's probably more to come, arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten in handicap company.

ANGLO SAXSON (IRE) ran creditably; in rear, headway over 2f out, no match for front pair but kept on; this opens up more options regarding trip, but it looks increasingly unlikely that he'll live up to his pedigree, and there may not be much more to come.

PLATH making handicap/turf debut, failed to confirm previous form, let alone build upon it; close up, raced freely, weakened from 2f out.
