had hinted at better here last month and was able to belatedly step up on her 2-y-o form back down in both trip and grade, seeing things out with much more conviction this time and continuing an excellent run of form for the yard; prominent, travelled smoothly, led approaching final 1f, headed final 100 yds, rallied close home, led again post; her overall record is rather patchy so she's not certain to reproduce this next time.

Solid form for the time of year, most of these having something to recommend them on recent efforts, one of the 3-y-os producing a useful effort back down in trip to edge out one that arrived at the top of his game.

SIRONA (GER) had hinted at better here last month and was able to belatedly step up on her 2-y-o form back down in both trip and grade, seeing things out with much more conviction this time and continuing an excellent run of form for the yard; prominent, travelled smoothly, led approaching final 1f, headed final 100 yds, rallied close home, led again post; her overall record is rather patchy so she's not certain to reproduce this next time.

ON A SESSION (USA) is only a 1 lb above his last winning mark and again shaped well, faring best of those to come from off the pace; dwelt, waited with, good headway under 2f out, in touch entering final 1f, effort flattened out.

ABDUCTION (FR) who won this race last year, shaped better than the bare result, finishing with running left having been left with a lot to do; waited with, still plenty to do 2f out, going well when switched over 1f out, ran on, nearest at the finish.
