SERIOUS LOOK (IRE) shaped as if still in good form, undone by the run of the race rather than his new mark; blindfold removed late, mid-field, had to wait for gap home turn as front pair pressed on, ridden entering straight, steady headway but left with too much to do; will remain of interest.

GOLSPIE (IRE) shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests, remains in good form; slowly into stride, in rear, had to wait for gap home turn, shaken up early in straight, still plenty to do, steady headway final 1f, had a hopeless task from position.

EDEN STORM (IRE) probably remains in form and has done enough on his last 2 starts to suggest he stays this far; prominent, pushed along home turn, no extra final 1f, better placed than most.

SATURNALIA (GER) in a change of headgear (first-time blinkers), ran to a similar level to last time and seems to be in a lull for now; prominent, shaken up over 2f out, faded straight.

DOPAMINE upped in trip, was far more prominent in the betting than on handicap bow but wasn't seen to best effect; raced off the pace, shaken up over 1f out, kept on, not unduly punished, left poorly placed.

MOLLY VALENTINE (IRE) upped in grade after 7 weeks off, wasn't in the same form as last time; raced wide, mid-field, took strong hold, shaken up home turn, not quicken.

REVICH (IRE) again ran below form and has made a low-key start for new yard, perhaps requiring the re-fitting of more severe headgear; raced off the pace, never a threat.

RAINTOWN (IRE) back down in trip, in first-time cheekpieces, continues out of sorts; dwelt, never dangerous.
